Ingredientes da Torta de Limão e Merengue;
- Massa
- 1 e ½ xícara (chá) de farinha de trigo
- 2 colheres (sopa) de açúcar
- 1 colher (chá) de fermento em pó
- 2 gemas
- 4 colheres (sopa) de manteiga em temperatura ambiente
- Recheio e cobertura
- 1 lata de leite condensado
- ½ xícara (chá) de suco de limão
- 2 claras grandes
- 3 colheres (sopa) de açúcar de confeiteiro
- Raspas de limão
Modo de Preparo;
- Massa
- Primeiramente, misture os ingredientes secos, junte as gemas e a manteiga e amasse com a ponta dos dedos até formar uma bola macia e homogênea. Envolva em filme plástico e deixe em repouso por ½ hora.
- Abra então, agora, a massa e forre a base e a lateral de uma fôrma de fundo removível de 20 cm de diâmetro x 5 cm de altura.
- Agora, então, fure a massa em diversos pontos com um garfo e leve ao forno médio preaquecido (180°C) por 15 a 18 minutos.
- Espalhe o recheio sobre a massa pré-assada, cubra com o merengue e leve novamente ao forno, na mesma temperatura, até dourar levemente.
- Por fim, retire do forno, polvilhe assim, raspas de limão, espere esfriar e leve à geladeira por ao menos 2 horas antes de desenformar e servir.

- Recheio: Misture o leite condensado com o suco de limão até ficar homogêneo. Utilize.
- Cobertura: Bata as claras em neve, junte o açúcar e bata até formar um merengue firme.
