Atualizar os limites para enquadramento de micro e pequenas empresa no Simples Vernáculo. É isso que propõe um projeto legalizado nesta terça-feira, 13, pela Percentagem de Assuntos Econômicos (CAE) do Senado.

Vale lembrar que o Simples Vernáculo é o regime simplificado de tributação talhado a microempresas e empresas de pequeno porte.
Correção de valores
O objetivo do projeto é atualizar os limites de receita bruta anual para enquadramento nas faixas do Simples Vernáculo. Isso porque os valores não são corrigidos desde o início do ano de 2018.
Agora, o novo texto prevê um novo teto de receita bruta anual para microempresa, passando de R$ 360 milénio para R$ 427,5 milénio. Entretanto, no caso de empresas de pequeno porte, os limites para enquadramento no simples passam a ser de receita bruta anual superior a R$ 427,5 milénio ou igual ou subordinado a R$ 5,7 milhões.
Anteriormente esses valores giravam entre R$ 360 milénio e R$ 4,8 milhões. O ajuste é necessário porque, segundo o relator, senador Irajá (PSD-TO), com a inflação acumulada nos últimos 60 meses muitos contribuintes estavam sendo tributados com alíquotas mais altas, mesmo não tendo apresentado ganhos reais.
Repúdio tributária
Leste aumento do limite deve ampliar a repúdio tributária da União. Em outras palavras, a proposta de Orçamento para 2023 prevê R$ 456,09 bilhões em benefícios tributários, dos quais R$ 88,5 bilhões às empresas do Simples.
